OUR FOUNDER

Rachael grew up in tropical landscapes and educated in clinical spaces as a Navy Hospital Corpsman and nurse clinician — her family’s Caribbean heritage is steeped in natural remedies, while her professional journey was shaped by healing and proven science. Inspired by the resilience of her hair and skin through recovery from cancer — She is a three-time cancer survivor (Cervical, Uterine and Thyroid).

During her cancer recovery, she noticed her hair and skin’s deeper need: not just hydration or glow — but healing at the root and cellular level. She has set out to merge the time-tested power of island botanicals with the efficacy of clinical-grade skincare.

“My grandmother taught me that our island home of Dominica and the Caribbean is more than just a beautiful and lush paradise. My recent trip back home was to relax and renew myself spiritually and physically after cancer was inspiring. The natural clays, bush teas, herbs, fresh fruits, flowers and provisions made me feel whole again, thus inspiring me to create products deeply rooted in nature and culture. Our company began with a story of cancer and recovery -- inside and out. It's important to our founders that we honors our bodies, ancestry and traditions. 

Our packaging is 100% recyclable and we use ingredients that minimizes irresponsibility to our planet. 

We have made a promise to support cancer patients, survivors and their families by donating a percentage of every order to the American Cancer Society.

JUICEE BRANDS, LLC was founded in 2020 and based in Hamden, Connecticut. Our products are all formulated and manufactured in the USA.

Who is RAENI and ANAICA?

RAENI and ANAICA are our brands that fall under the JUICEE BRANDS, LLC umbrella company. RAENI is our root and hair care brands. ANAICA is our skin and body care brand.

What is the difference between RAENI and ANAICA, and brands like them?

We standout as a melanin-focused brands. All our products are formulated with tropical botanicals (phyto-actives) and clinical actives. We don't use harmful ingredients in our products. They are sulfate-free, cruelty-free, paraben-free and safe for all skin types.

What is the meaning of RAENI

RAENI is the child-hood nickname of our founder. It means queenly or noble one.

What is the meaning of ANAICA

ANAICA is the Sanskrit translation of our founder's grandmother name who was Hindu meaning "full of grace".
